The builders plate on the new bridge across Eight Mile Creek in Fisk. Though the bridge replacement took place in July/August 2016, the bridge was evidently fabricated, for the most part, in 2015. There was some work done on the span at site, before installation. |

A new bridge was installed across Eight Mile Creek over July and August of 2016. It replaced a span installed in 1910 by the Milwaukee Road. The line is now operated by the Wisconsin and Southern. The new bridge has quite a few differences from the old, if one cares to compare photos of the new and old bridges in the Fisk Location photo viewing. |
