Southwest Corner of the New Bridge at Fisk
Title:  Southwest Corner of the New Bridge at Fisk
Description:  A look at the details on the southwest corner of the new bridge across Eight Mile Creek. The old span, though not the first, was erected in 1910 and lasted about 116 years give or take a few months.

Paxton - Vierling Steel Co. Built Bridge at Fisk
Title:  Paxton - Vierling Steel Co. Built Bridge at Fisk
Description:  The builders plate on the new bridge across Eight Mile Creek in Fisk. Though the bridge replacement took place in July/August 2016, the bridge was evidently fabricated, for the most part, in 2015. There was some work done on the span at site, before installation.

New Bridge at MP 179.9
Title:  New Bridge at MP 179.9
Description:  A new bridge was installed across Eight Mile Creek over July and August of 2016. It replaced a span installed in 1910 by the Milwaukee Road. The line is now operated by the Wisconsin and Southern. The new bridge has quite a few differences from the old, if one cares to compare photos of the new and old bridges in the Fisk Location photo viewing.
