IC 3138
The Canadian National switches the General Chemical facility in Menasha, WI. The industrial spur this is located on was once used to serve the Gilbert Paper Company mill in Menasha. Gilbert Paper was served by two spurs, the other spur came across from the other side of the Fox River, through U.S. Papers and served Gilberts and Banta Corp. Some of the cars spotedd at Gilbert Paper on that spur were on a trestle over the water. Milwaukee Road, Soo Line and Chicago and Northwestern could all be seen on the rails in this paper producing area prior to 1987.
