Chicago & Northwestern Bridge over Soo Line Right of Way  Contributor's Pick!
The CNW Two River Spur Track had this interesting bridge over the Soo Line right of way into Manitowoc. The Soo ran straight under the bridge, where the track connecting with the CNW was the one that runs off to the right. From this point, the Soo rails are out of service, with no connection to the outside world. Satellite footage shows some of the rails still exist within the private confines of some of the industries in town. This bridge is dated to 1896, and the spur track had a maximum weight limit of 210,000 lbs. (CNW Timetable No.6 effective Jan. 1 1984)
