| A local spots a boxcar at RGL. RGL is a logistic company formed in 2013. A May 10, 2013 news release indicates RGL was formed by the melding of Leicht, Checker Logistics and RGL Specialty Services. A Georgia Pacific facility is the back drop to this scene. The rails are parallel to State Street here and served many industries from this spur, the numbers of which have been on the decline. Fortunately, as new industrial parks develop in the area, new rail customers appear. The buildings in the new industrial parks have no where near the character and architecture as these older buildings though. |
