| Looking east from N. Superior Avenue along the CP Rails former Milwaukee Road line at Tomah. The area to the left of the track was the eastern half of the M.o.W. Shops that was split by N. Superior Ave. The track that can be seen to the left of the main in the distance is the tail of a switch back to gain access to Keene's Transfer. It does not appear that Keene's utilizes the railroad currently. Also about five miles east of Tomah is another sand quarry. Smart Sand is located in Oakdale. Smart Sand has a busy rail-load network. |
