Former CNW Main Across the Fox River in Menasha
Looking across the Fox River in Menasha from Doty Island. This bridge was once the CNW "Airline" main from Milwaukee to Green Bay via Fond du Lac and the Fox Cities. The bridge now serves as a link along an industrial spur serving Neenah Paper, the Forest Island warehouse and Chemtrade (formerly General Chemical) on Doty Island. There is potential for additional customers to come on line, there are some vacant factory buildings, not too far out of shape along the line. The closed Whiting Paper mill smokestack is visible off the far end of the bridge.
