Title:  CN 4705
Description:  Canadian National usually works Oshkosh at night, running a turn from Neenah. The local is caught here on the east side of the Jackson Street grade crossing. It is between Jackson Street (State Road 76) and Main on the north end of town. The train will be headed to switch covered hoppers stored on the west end of this former CNW industrial spur used in service with Bemis Performance and Pacur. A good sign here is two empty center beam bulkhead flats that could have only come from Noffke Lumber. That is a good sign of activity at the lumber yard.

Title:  CN 4705
Description:  Typically I would not post such a poorly focused image, however I found it a unique sight to find a light engine movement so far out from Menasha. The unit is about 13 miles out of Menasha, approaching County Road B and MP14 on the Manitowoc Sub, heading long hood first for Hilbert Junction.

Description:  A lone engine crosses the County Road B grade crossing at MP 14 on the Manitowoc Sub. The train is seen through the windshield of a vehicle, which explains the image quality, or lack thereof. The Saint John-Sacred Heart Church steeple can be seen over the trees.

Title:  CN 4715
Description:  CN 4715 pulls past the historic Milwaukee Road depot in Hilbert. This local is going to work the former Wisconsin Central Plymouth Subdivision, formerly the MILW's 5th sub of the Northern Division. I don't know how the CN refers to it.

CN 4715
Title:  CN 4715
Description:  The 4715 has moved past the east side of the former Milwaukee Road depot on what used to be the main line from Milwaukee to Green Bay, and beyond. This track is now part of the small yard facility in Hilbert for sorting cars. Just beyond this string of hoppers is the junction with the Manitowoc Subdivision (formerly Soo Line) which is very close to a 90 degree diamond. This depot had it's windows replaced with more modern fixtures about 2003 or 2004. Sometime since then, they have been boarded up.

CN 4715
Title:  CN 4715
Description:  The CN 4715 heads into the storage track to pick up another cut of covered hoppers in Hilbert. The unit's train is set on a connecting track from the Manitowoc Subdivision to the Plymouth Subdivision (both former Wisconsin Central designations). The train came from Neenah via the Manitowoc sub and connected with the Plymouth sub thru St. Paul switch. St. Paul switch is the point at which trackage rights Soo trains left Milwaukee Road rails between Menasha and Hilbert and went on eastward to Manitowoc.

Title:  CN 4715
Description:  The 4715 shoves a cut of covered hoppers back up the connecting track to couple with it's train. The former Milwaukee Road depot is just to the right of the unit. Hilbert has a nice sized, growing, rail served business that makes alfalfa pellets.

Description:  Running from Neenah to Kaukauna and back, a the Thilmany (Expera Specialty Solutions) Job crosses Washington Street in Little Chute. The train is about to run behind Nestle's former Jacks Pizza plant. This pizza factory receives a fair amount of rail traffic, however, it seems to ship by truck.
