Looking at the old Milwaukee Road depot from the northeast. Though the rails are weed covered, they are in fact the mainline from Channing,MI to Green Bay, WI for the ELS. (Escanaba and Lake Superior) Last I have heard, as of 2017, this structure has succumbed to Mother Nature and Father Time and has completely fallen. |

Looking north along the former Milwaukee Road line north out of Green Bay at Stiles Junction. Some cars are stored by the current owner of the line, the Escanaba and Lake Superior, on the siding. Though there is no longer a diamond here, the ELS does indeed have a junction here in which the use the old connecting track to access the former CNW branch into Oconto Falls. The old depot here is just visible via the red roof standing out through the foliage. |
