Inactive Auto Distribution Ramp
Title:  Inactive Auto Distribution Ramp
Description:  A look over the fence into the inactive auto distribution center served by the Union Pacific in the Granville neighborhood of Milwaukee. An AAR report lists it as inactive, the Union Pacific Automobile Facilities Profile fails to mention it at all. Judging by the overgrowth, the ramp has been closed for some time, and is used for rail car storage. I have been unable to locate any information as to what year this went into inactive status or whether or not this facility shipped, received or both. I have no idea what manufacturer may have used this. I know AMC, later Chrysler, had facilities in the area, but have not found any information as to shipping assembled cars. If any of you have information regarding the facility, please add it in the comments.

Automobile Distribution Ramp
Title:  Automobile Distribution Ramp
Description:  The overgrown inactive auto distribution center in Granville. The facility is noted by an AAR report as served by Union Pacific, and inactive. Union Pacific's Automotive Facilities Profile does not mention it at all. I have been unable to find information regarding the history of this facility, if you have any, please add it to the comments. The Wisconsin Southern connects with the UP here in Granville, perhaps they can drum up some use for this that would be more lucrative than car storage.

WAMX 4192
Title:  WAMX 4192
Description:  Four units, including one unkown GP38-2, at work at the Oshkosh terminal at Clairville Road and State 91. The units all look like WSOR, but are listed as parent company WATCO property, WAMX.

UNPX 122933
Title:  UNPX 122933
Description:  An interesting four bay covered hopper at Plymouth. Plymouth is now served by the WSOR rather than Canadian National (modern Wisconsin Central, before that Milwaukee Road and Chicago and Northwestern). The WSOR has reinstated rail service to Sheboygan Falls and as far as Kohler, on an old inactive CNW right of way from Plymouth. The reactivated line comes within a few hundred feet of connecting with the Union Pacific (CNW) line that reaches Kohler from Sheboygan. If UP ever decides to embargo Kohler and the Kohler Comany from Sheboygan, it would be easy for WSOR to step in and take over.

Plymouth Station
Title:  Plymouth Station
Description:  The former Milwaukee Road station in Plymouth is looking good under the WSOR (WATCO). The line has become more active under the WSOR, making Plymouth become an operating junction once again. The WSOR reactivated the former CNW line to Sheboygan Falls to serve a number of businesses that wanted rail service, including a Bemis facility in Sheboygan Falls.

WAMX 3893
Title:  WAMX 3893
Description:  Working to Oshkosh out of Horicon, a WSOR train works the United Co-op facility in Pickett. The United Co-op has an agronomy center in Pickett that is a fairly busy rail customer. Note the newer paint scheme on the front of the unit. I think I prefer the smaller chevron stripes rather than the wide chevron.

IC 3115
Title:  IC 3115
Description:  Pulling up grade to extract cars from Expera Specialty Solutions Nicolet Mill, the train negotiates a curve and bypasses a large electrical sub station. Though one can capture images from public property, if one lingers too long in the area, Expera's security may come out to confront photographers. Just a heads up to prepare would be photographers.
