The Brodead historical Society has a very nice museum housed in an old Milwaukee Road depot. The museum also has this beautifully restored tandem of Milwaukee Road equipment. Though fenced in from the lawn, access to the two is available from within the museum. |

Description: |
The first of 25 cars built in the Milwaukee Shops in 1941, this wonderfully restored caboose resides at the Brodhead Historical Society Museum. The caboose spent it's last active days assigned to Council Bluffs,and is reported to be one of the most original examples of a Milwaukee rib side caboose to be found. |
