| A pulpwood car spotted on a the team track at the former Chicago & Northwestern Yard in Oshkosh. The track once lead into the Buckstaff factory, which had a considerable amount of track within the confines of it's property to serve it. Pulpwood is not normally loaded from here, but once in a while a load will be sent from here. Probably less than 15 per year. Much has changed in this location since the image was captured. The defunct Buckstaff factory has been torn down to be replaced by a basketball arena. The yard tracks in the foreground have also been removed as CN modifies its infrastructure in Oshkosh to adjust for the diminished amount of rail customers in town. |
