| After the former C&NW yard in Oshkosh sat empty for a few months, it was a surprise to see some maintenance of way equipment form a contractor in the yard. Hopes were that the yard was to be re-done and set up for a long term future of use. Alas, the future of the yard was very short. Within a matter of days, the yard tracks were torn out leaving only a run around track and a short spur. Blended Waxes is served from the south end of the run around. The bascule bridge over the Fox River is visible in the background. |
