A WSOR train approaches Island Road from the east on its return to Horicon from Oshkosh. The train is about half way between Pickett and Ripon. Though not as refined as their maroon and silver mates, there is something appealing about the scabby blue workhorses sometimes referred to as Mexi-wrecks. |

One of the conveyors is visible through the trees. The facility is located on the south side of the line, opposite what is now the United CO-OP elevator, along the former Milwaukee Road branch from Horicon to Oshkosh. |
